Mission of the NYSID Library
|
The
mission of the library is to serve as a vital center for current and
comprehensive information resources on interior design and cognate design arts. The library's main purpose is to meet the information and research needs of the students, faculty, and alumni/ae of the New York School of Interior Design by providing access to and maintaining a professional-level collection of materials suited to advanced study. In addition, the library will conduct an ongoing instructional program nurturing students to become independent, discerning, and critical seekers of information. |
